Our plan is to release major updates to the platform (e.g., new visualisations and new analyses) approximately every 6 months. However, new species and updates to existing analyses will be done in incremental updates. Release 1.1 will have several new species, as well as improved orthology predictions and gene trees. The additional genomes planned for Release 1.1 are:
- Amyelois transitella v1
- Bicyclus anynana v1.0
- Danaus plexippus v3
- Operophtera brumata v1
- Papilio polytes Ppol_1.0 (Tokyo Institute of Technology)
- Papilio xuthus Pxut_1.0 (Tokyo Institute of Technology)
- Papilio machaon Pap_ma_1.0 (BGI)
- Papilio xuthus Pap_xu_1.0 (BGI)
- Spodoptera frugiperda v2
Please get in touch at help@lepbase.org if you are sequencing a lepidopteran genome and would like to see it hosted on lepbase.org, or if you would like to see additional features implemented. Our goal is to provide a useful home for moth and butterfly genomes with consistent data access interfaces and cross-species analyses.
